PRAYER FOR THE WORLD

NEIGHBORS FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS

Local Muslims

200 families are involved at our local Islamic Center (mosque) in Newburgh, Indiana. They are surrounded by churches and believers in our community, so they should have ample opportunities to hear about Jesus.

Pray that believers and churches would reach out to Muslims in our community with the gospel.

The Hispanic Community

Many Hispanics have come in search of a new life. Some own their own small businesses, contributing to the local economy. Many are working jobs in substandard conditions and being underpaid.

Pray that Hispanics in our community would experience the truth, love and freedom that only the Gospel provides.

International Students

Nearly 400 students come to Evansville from countries all over the world that are unreached with the gospel. 70% of international students are never invited into an American home. 55 countries are represented on UE’s campus, making internationals 16% of the undergrad student population. 24 nations are represented on USI’s campus.

Pray that American students and families would extend friendship, hospitality, and the truth of Christianity.

Working Professionals

Large companies in the Evansville area employ many people from different background, especially from unreached areas. They are our doctors, professors, engineers, restaurant owners, and have children on our kids’ sports teams.

Pray that neighbors and co-workers of working professionals would reach out with friendship and the gospel.

Pray that God would open your eyes to see where God has placed people from different backgrounds in your day to day life so that you can build a friendship with them and share Jesus.
